A Pittston man allegedly was preying on young girls online.
Lucien Oliveri, 33, faces 10 felony charges of possession of explicit material of a minor under age 12, according to the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office.
Police learned of Oliveri’s alleged sexual online chats and interactions with young girls back in early May.
His electronics were later seized from his home, and an examination of them turned up images of girls between ages 10 and 13, the sheriff’s office said Thursday.
Oliveri later reportedly admitted to police to “doing very inappropriate things with these images.”
He was arrested Wednesday and taken to the Kennebec County Jail in Augusta, where his bail was set at $10,000. His bail conditions prohibit him from having internet-connected devices and from having contact with any children under age 18.
