A man was found dead at a Brunswick property on Tuesday.
The Brunswick Police Department received a 911 call at 5 Valerie Ave. reporting gunshots shortly before 1 p.m.
Officers found a deceased man on the property. They took the resident at that address into custody on charges related to the incident, Maine State Police said. The resident was taken to Cumberland County Jail.
The deceased was taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Augusta for an autopsy to confirm their identity and determine cause and manner of death, police said.
