SKOWHEGAN — The Skowhegan Craft Brew Fest returns on Saturday, Sept. 5 for its 10th anniversary celebration, bringing together Maine-made beverages, food, live music and a festive Labor Day weekend atmosphere.
Presented by nonprofit Main Street Skowhegan, the annual festival showcases Maine’s craft beverage industry while creating an opportunity for residents and visitors to gather, discover local and regional producers and enjoy an afternoon in historic downtown Skowhegan.
This year’s entertainment will feature The Shizzle, a high-energy band known for performing hip-hop favorites from the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s. Festival goers can expect a lively soundtrack alongside tastings from participating breweries, cideries and other Maine beverage producers, as well as food vendors and additional festival activities.
“Reaching the 10-year mark is an exciting milestone for the Skowhegan Craft Brew Fest,” Kristina Cannon, president and CEO of Main Street Skowhegan, said. “Over the years, the event has become a Labor Day weekend tradition and a fun way to celebrate Maine-made products, bring people together and introduce more visitors to Skowhegan.”
In addition to VIP, general admission, and designated driver ticket options, this year’s event features a new Music Lover’s ticket that includes admission to the festival and five four-ounce pours, giving attendees different ways to experience the event.
