TV ads supporting Susan Collins tend to portray her as a saint. To me, she’s no saint.

She voted for President Donald Trump’s measures 96% of the time. To me, that makes her an accomplice in: his measures to carry on war with Iran; tariffs hitting all Mainers; in giving tax breaks to the rich and himself; supporting ICE, its tactics and killings; banning abortion rights for women, and making health care cuts in Maine.

In my view, that’s not moderate or bipartisan voting. I believe she can’t pretend otherwise: After 30 years in Congress she knows what goes on.

In my opinion she’s no saint. With that record, I think she’s clearly an accomplice.
