Only six homes sold in Bangor during the first week of August, marking a significant slowdown from prior weeks prior.
The trend aligns with statewide property sales that the Maine Association of Realtors identified in a press release issued last week. The association noted 1,542 single-family homes in Maine changed hands in August — a 10% plummet from the previous year.
The six Bangor homes that sold between Aug. 2 and 8 range in price from $160,000 to $775,000. We assembled a list of all the residential property sales that occurred in Bangor from Aug. 2 to 8 by pulling data from state transfer tax documents, which are available to the public online.
