WindowDressers, a nonprofit dedicated to warming homes, saving energy and building community, is excited to announce a partnership with First National Bank, which will be sponsoring three community builds in Orono, Rockland/Camden and Belfast. First National Bank will be providing both financial and volunteer support to each of these community builds.
This sponsorship will help sustain WindowDressers’ Special Rate Program, which offers low- or no-cost insulating window inserts to households who are struggling financially to afford their heating costs and other basic needs. In addition to their financial support, employees from First National Bank will participate as volunteers at the community builds, working alongside other community members to help assemble window inserts for households who have requested them. Last year, First National Bank employees participated in three local community builds as volunteers and WindowDressers is excited to continue this partnership.
“WindowDressers is deeply grateful for this partnership and the financial and volunteer support that First National Bank has provided us over the years. By working together, we can have a bigger impact in the communities we both serve,” Jessica Williams, executive director of WindowDressers, said.
