Do you know why your child gets free breakfast and lunch everyday at school? Remember when poor kids had to be on the free lunch list and other kids had to pay a lunch fee?

Maine first passed universal free school meals legislation in 2022 under the leadership of then-Senate President Troy Jackson, making it one of the first states in the nation to provide free breakfast and lunch to all K-12 students regardless of household income.

Vote for Troy Jackson for U.S. senator.
