A Lebanon man who allegedly fled from police and crashed into three vehicles and a house was found hiding in a pond Monday night.

Zackery Lacourse, 21, was charged with operating under the influence, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, failure to stop for a police officer, operating after suspension and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.

Lacrouse was allegedly driving a white 2005 Ford pickup truck erratically with no headlights on Main Street in Waterboro about 10:27 p.m. when a deputy tried to pull him over. He allegedly fled, and the deputy didn’t give chase.

The deputy later found Lacrouse’s truck near the intersection of Main Street and West Road, where he allegedly crashed into a 2017 Subaru Impreza before continuing into the Waterboro House of Pizza’s parking lot, where he hit two parked vehicles and then a home.

The Subaru’s driver, a 30-year-old Shapleigh woman, wasn’t injured.

Lacrouse allegedly fled from the crash. A police dog tracked him down to a nearby pond, where he was trying to hide.

Lacrouse was taken to the York County Jail in Alfred, where he was unable to make bail. He was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday in Biddeford.
