My family has operated a business in downtown Bangor for 46 years. I love this community, and it breaks my heart to see what’s happening to our city today.
Every day downtown, I see the visible toll of homelessness and drug addiction taking over our streets. It’s really tragic to see the decline that’s become our city. It didn’t happen by accident. I believe it’s the direct result of failed leadership and poor policies coming out of Augusta from the Gov. Janet Mills administration, which includes Hannah Pingree, and our state legislative majority along with our Bangor City Council.
Maine needs real solutions to fix our challenges — not just manage the decline. I think Bobby Charles brings the exact combination of experience we need right now: a proven background in drug law enforcement to address the root of our crisis, paired with a small-government philosophy that lets local businesses thrive.
I believe Bobby has the strength, the character, and the genuine compassion to lead us through these immense challenges and restore pride to our communities. Join me in supporting Bobby Charles for Maine governor.
Ballots are in your town office now. Don’t miss the opportunity to help by voting. Do it before Nov. 3!
