Bangor police arrested a man on Wednesday after an alleged robbery and assault.
Shortly before 5 p.m. that day, a Bangor officer was patrolling on Ohio Street when a man with blood on his face, clothing and hands flagged her down, the department said in a news release Friday.
The man said that he had been in an apartment on Ohio Street when Justin Moulton, a 43-year-old man described by police as transient, demanded money then hit him in the face causing his nose to bleed until the victim handed over the money.
The victim told police that Moulton was still in the apartment, where they found and arrested him.
Moulton was charged with Class A robbery and Class D assault.
