BANGOR — About 70 employers are expected at Husson University’s Fall Career Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 28 where they will meet and make connections with eager students seeking internships and job opportunities.

Organized by Husson’s Career Services, some of the organizations attending include Bangor Savings Bank, Northern Light Health, Versant, WVII, Headlight Audio Visual and many more. It’s scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The career fair is a staple tradition at Husson University. It helps students to network with possible employers and explore potential avenues for their future careers. It’s recommended that Husson students attend as many career fairs as possible to strengthen their connections with returning organizations.

“Our goal is to help students feel more prepared and understand what they’re facing when they walk into the space,” Kate Axelsen Foster, director of career services at Husson University, said.

Students are recommended to bring copies of their resume and plan on talking to as many tables as possible. Professional dress is recommended. Students can shop Career Services’ Clothing Closet and take advantage of their other services ahead of the event to prepare.
