In my 30-plus years of being around the halls of Augusta, and as a lifetime member of the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine, I saw first hand what Matt Dunlap has accomplished for Maine folks who hunt, fish, snowmobile, or ATV.
He sponsored and passed laws that increase access to lands to enjoy whatever outdoor sport you participate in. Whether it’s longer hunting seasons, increasing stocking of your fishing spots, or adding miles of trails, Matt has been a leader supporting our outdoor heritage.
On a last note, he hunts, he fishes, he walks the walk. He didn’t fly to Florida the day after his term in office ended. He stayed in Maine and continued to support our outdoor sports.
He’ll be great for us folks in Washington. He has my vote. I hope he has yours.
