A fire destroyed a Skowhegan home early Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out at the North Avenue home about 1:11 a.m., according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
By the time firefighters arrived, the home was rife with heavy flames.
A woodstove was used to heat the home. Because of the extensive damage, investigators have been unable to determine the fire’s cause and have ruled it undetermined.
No one was injured in the fire.
