An Orrington man allegedly assaulted a woman on Friday night.
Ryan Ring, 49, has been charged with domestic violence assault, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Ring allegedly assaulted the woman during an altercation about 9:20 p.m. Friday.
Ring, who has a criminal history for assault, was taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor, where he was held ahead of his initial court appearance.
