Bottle recycling company Clynk is searching for the owner of a wedding ring set that likely belongs to a Mainer.

The company said in a  Facebook post on June 11 that an employee had found the wedding ring set while processing bottle returns. As of Tuesday, the rings have not been returned to its owner.

The ring set was found during the collection and processing of the recyclables. Clynk, which has deposit locations throughout New England, allows people to return their bottles to a kiosk to claim their redemption returns.

Because the bags are collected by location, it is most likely that the rings were lost by someone in Maine.

The company will return the ring to whoever can correctly provide some unique details about the jewelry, including being able to identify the inscription inside it.

Anyone with information can contact Clynk’s customer service representative Shannon Tallman at stallman@clynk.com.
