WORCESTER, Massachusetts — Worcester Polytechnic Institute has announced the university’s dean’s list for academic excellence for the spring 2026 semester.
Local honorees are:
Bangor resident Conner Hickson, Class of 2029, majoring in computer science and robotics engineering;
Stetson resident Samantha Ward, Class of 2029, majoring in biomedical engineering.
The criteria for the WPI dean’s list differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average. Instead, WPI students are named to the dean’s list based on the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and hands-on projects.
