A car that was reported stolen from the town of Corinna earlier this week was found in Maryland, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.

The 2022 Toyota sedan went missing overnight Wednesday and may have belonged to the town or a town employee.

The sheriff’s office did not say how the car was located.
