When I think of Sen. Susan Collins, I think of a powerful voice for Maine.

In today’s political environment, I believe it is increasingly hard to vote with your heart and conscience and yet that is what Collins has always done. Whether you are a Democrat, Republican, or independent, I believe Susan is willing to work with you as long as what you are working on works on making Maine and the country better.

As the chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, she has helped bring millions of Mainers’ tax dollars back to the state to help with everything from healthcare to shipbuilding to our fisheries. These are the resources that a senior senator is able to bring back to Maine and the resources that a small state like Maine needs.

I would like to finish with the fact that Collins has never missed a vote! She is the only senator in the history of the country to cast 10,000 consecutive votes.

No taxation without representation is what the country was founded on. Maine can count on Collins to represent Maine. I think she has never let us down.
