In what universe is Paul LePage the “prohibitive favorite” in the Second Congressional District race? I’ve seen this term “favorite” used at least three times by the BDN (most recently on Oct. 3).
I don’t think you can even call him a Maine resident, unless you call perching in a rental unit in a commercial building “residency.” LePage moved to Florida right after his two terms as our governor (which I consider abominable) to avoid paying taxes. Time and again he has spoken about our beautiful state of Maine with disdain.
In my view, it shouldn’t take long for a thoughtful Maine voter to make the correct choice in this race: long-time resident, lover and worker for the State of Maine, Matt Dunlap.
