Erin Merrill is an award-winning outdoor writer. Born and raised in Maine, she started deer hunting with her dad when she was 20. Since then, she has become an avid big game hunter and trapper. She sits on the board of directors for the Outdoor Writers Association of America and the New England Outdoor Writers Association. She serves as field staff for OnX, Fit to Hunt and FirstLite.
