Neil Cote is a former journalist whose experience includes the Tampa Tribune, Boston Herald and Portland Press Herald as well as eight years with the Portland-based marketing and PR firm Trueline. While he usually covered politics and public affairs, he also wrote about his real passion, the outdoors. Semi-retired, he stays busy as a Habitat for Humanity volunteer.
