WOODLAND – Silvio M. Theirault, 79, passed away Tuesday Aug. 19, 2008, at a Caribou hospital. He was born July 15, 1929, in Woodland, the son of William and Maria Brawn Theriault. Silvio worked in the woods and also on area farms. He loved to hunt and fish, and loved walking on his land enjoying the peace and solitude that nature could provide. Silvio was also very handy and was often working on cars or building things. He is survived by his wife, Danamarie (Morrow) Theriault of Woodland; and 10 children, Sylvia Soucy and her husband, Gerald, of Woodland, Merle Theirault and Randy Theriault, both of Limestone, Evelyn Chapman and her husband, Bruce, of Raymond, Danny Theriault of Caribou, Timothy Theriault of Woodland, Treska Berube and her husband, Fred, of Caribou, Claudine Theriault of Caribou, Galen Theriault and his wife, Vicky, of Washburn and Craig Theriault of Perham. He also leaves behind five siblings, Zelma Badger of Brownville, Sophie Farris Theriault, Thomas Theriault, Elizabeth “Betty” Farlen and Freeman Theriault Sr., all of Woodland; 22 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, William, Romeo, Victor, Leo and Ronald Theriault; and a sister, Mary Tilley. Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. Friends may call 1 p.m. until time of service. Interment will take place after the service at Woodland Cemetery. Then there will be a gathering for family and friends at the Theriault residence, 279 Langley Road, Woodland.
