ANSONIA, Conn. – Orrin F. Wade, 92, went home to be with the Lord, Feb. 8, 2008. He was born Aug. 2, 1915, in Bradford, to Emery and Vivian (Roberts) Wade. He was a World War II veteran. He retired from Raybestos Co., Stratford, Conn. He always looked forward to his visits to Maine, especially attending the Bradford school reunions. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Irene (Smith) Wade; daughter, Narda Allen; son, Kent Wade; granddaughter, Amanda and husband, David, Collozo; great-grandson, David Jr., all of Connecticut; brother, Norris Wade and wife, Nellie, of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brother, James; and sisters, Rita, Vera and Evelyn. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Aug. 23 at Bradford Mills Cemetery with Pastor David Lassell officiating. A luncheon will be served after the service at Bradford Baptist Church. Please come and join us in the celebrating of Orrin’s life. The church will be open early for those who are unable to attend graveside services.
