KENNETH F. WENTWORTH – BELFAST – Kenneth F. Wentworth, 91, died quietly Sept. 21, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Aug. 10, 1917, in Belfast, son of Mona and Orrin Wentworth. He was employed at Rudman Beverage, where he started as a delivery driver, and after his return from duties in the armed services, became foreman of the warehouse, which he ran for many years until he retired at 65. After his retirement, Ken worked at a flea market in Searsport until 2006. He loved to talk with people and enjoyed a pretty lady’s smile. He also loved to dance and frequented yard sales. A hard worker and good provider, he was always his own man and dealt with life on his terms. His strong points were integrity, loyalty and determination. He is survived by his son, Kenneth J. Wentworth of Bangor; four granddaughters, Sheila Wentworth of Bangor, Lori Stark of Alabama, Theresa Busho of Minnesota, Lisa Went-worth of Corinth and their families, which include six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Dave and Kristie Lewis and family of Belfast and Andrea Libby, his favorite cookie maker; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Wentworth Hudson; his partner of 26 years, Goldie Lewis; brothers, Lloyd and Vaughn; and a sister, Thelma. Family and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, where funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be after at Morrill Village Cemetery.
