BAR HARBOR – Nathalie Dorr, 80, died Nov. 18, 2004, at a Bar Harbor healthcare facility. She was born April 24, 1924, in Bar Harbor, the daughter of Harvey R. and Beatrice L. (Atcherson) Dorr. She graduated from Bar Harbor High School as valedictorian in 1942. Nathalie was a long time member of the MDI Hospital Auxiliary and a member of St. Saviour’s Episcopal Church in Bar Harbor. Nathalie worked for the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. and for attorneys, Ralph Masterman and Bernie Staples and most recently she retired from Fenton Chapman and Kane at the age of 78. Nathalie loved to knit for her niece and nephews. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Peters of South Portland; four nephews, Ray Peters and Michael H. Peters, both of South Portland, Byron C. Peters of Auburn and Bruce W. Peters of Naples; one niece, Linda Drake of York; 12 great- nieces and great-nephews. Friends are invited to call 2-4 p.m., Sunday Nov. 21, 2004, at Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, 48 Eden St., Bar Harbor. Funeral services will be held, 1 p.m., Monday, at St. Saviour’s Episcopal Church, Bar Harbor, with Father Edwin A. Garrett III officiating. Interment will be at Ledgelawn Cemetery, Bar Harbor.
