ST. JOHN PLANTATION – Adam B. Bourgoin, 21, died unexpectedly July 1, 2006, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born Feb. 11, 1985, in Caribou, the son of Bruce and Joann (Theodore) Bourgoin. Adam enjoyed being with family and friends. He loved to tease and tell jokes, and he loved to make people laugh. He would annoy someone until they smiled. Adam gave wonderful hugs. Adam loved going to his grandparent’s camp at Glacier Lake. He enjoyed snowmobiling, canoeing, four wheeling and was learning how to play the fiddle and guitar. Adam loved to stop in unexpectedly to visit family and friends. Adam was loved by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Adam is survived by his father, Bruce Bourgoin of Carmel and his mother, Joann Bourgoin of Bangor; one brother, Steven Bourgoin of Carmel; his paternal grandparents, Roger and Rena Mae Bourgoin of St. John Plantation; his maternal grandfather, Albert Theodore of Wareham, Mass.; his godfather, Tommy Bourgoin and his wife, Gail, of Fort Kent; and his godmother, Patricia (Bourgoin) Hurne of East Hampden, Conn.; many aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Friends may call 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent until time of departure for St. John. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated noon Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church, St. John. A memorial service will also be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
