BREWER- Agnes Charlene (Brittain) Roy, 78, passed away Oct. 9, 2005. Her wish of peace in Heaven with her son, Larry, has come true. Born Sept. 11, 1927, in Wytopitlock, she was the daughter of Zelpha Belle (Sweeney) Brittain Lyons and Arthur Frank Brittain. Agnes dedicated her life to her family. She raised her four children and was a foster parent for newborns. Her family is convinced she’s making apple pies in Heaven. Agnes is survived by her children, Frank Roy and wife, Diana, of Prentiss Township, Ellen Willis and husband, “Barney”, of Hurlock, Md. and David Roy and wife, Diane, of Orrington; two sisters, Minnie Rollins of Wytopitlock and Ina Morris of Plainville, Conn.; seven grandchildren, Frank Roy and wife, Joy, of Hermon, Travis Roy and wife, Tina, of Old Town, “Chip” Willis of San Diego, Calif., “Rakky” and Amy Willis of Hurlock, Md. and Jaime and Brian Roy of Orrington; five great-grandchildren, Jake and Mollie Roy of Hermon, Jordan and Abbie Roy of Old Town and Belle Willis of Hurlock, Md. She also leaves special friends, Maxine Hartley and Paul Shibles. Agnes was predeceased by her eldest son, Larry; brothers, Stephen Brittain and Leslie Brittain; sisters, Victoria MacDonald, Emily Knight and Janette Doane; a special brother-in-law, Norman Morris; and her companion “Turkey” (her cat). There will be a graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, at the Kingman Cemetery, with Brother Rex Anthony Norris officiating.
