BANGOR – Alan A. Cichocki, 55, died unexpectedly March 11, 2008, in Orono. He was born Nov. 1, 1952, in Rutland, Vt., the son of William and Edith (Marshman) Cichocki. Alan enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and was a huge Red Sox fan. He was a very happy go lucky person. Alan is survived by his two daughters and their husbands, Tina and Ken Beede of Bangor and Jenny Cichocki-Perry and Richie of Swanton, Vt.; two very special grandchildren, Kenny Beede Jr. and Katelyn Perry; three brothers, Gary Cichocki of Orrington, Danny Clark of Bangor and E.J. Clark of Brewer; five sisters, Gloria Gilpatrick of Lisbon, Nancy Miles of Bangor, Tammy Higgins of Winterport, Sally Clark of Clifton and Lisa Kingsbury of Bangor; his companion Mary Libby; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Billy Cichocki and Ernest Cichocki; and his sister, Cindy Cichocki. A celebration of Alan’s life will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 14, at Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor.
