ADDISON – Alan D. Crockett, 85, of Addison, died Monday, March 6, 2006, at his home. He was born June 9, 1920, in Addison, the son of the late Fred and Cora (Dodge) Crockett. Mr. Crockett was a lifelong member of the Pleasant River Fishing Game Club of Columbia, a member of the Indian River Grange of Addison and the Masonic Lodge of Addison. He shared 25 years of marriage with Joan (Lavigne) Crockett. In addition to his wife, family members include his children, David Crockett, Kenneth Crockett, Cora Lee Corrigan and Candace Crockett; his stepchildren, Linda Thorndike, Robert Mackey and Brenda Luebbers; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a niece, Martha Rowley and her son, Jake Rowley. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Doris Driscoll and Nancy Longfellow Morris. The family requests that services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alan’s memory may be made to the Harrington Family Health Center building fund, P.O. Box 82, Harrington, ME 04643. Arrangements are by the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Milbridge.
