WALLAGRASS – Alberien Ouellette, 82, beloved husband of Adele (Saucier) Ouellette died May 26, 2006, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. He was born May 27, 1923, in Wallagrass, the son of Honore and Jane (Corriveau) Ouellette. Alberien was a loving husband and father. He was a gentle, kind and generous man and his children live their lives through his examples. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the VFW Lozier O’Grady Post 9609 of Fort Kent. Alberien is survived by his wife of Fort Kent; three daughters, Barbara Boucher and her husband, Ronald, of Eagle Lake, Esther Boucher and her husband, Rodney, of Southington, Conn., and Betty Pelletier and her husband, Wilmer, of Canton, Conn.; one son, Harold Ouellette and his wife, Diane, of Middletown, Pa.; one brother, Roland of Roseville, Calif.; two sisters, Julienne Caron of Orrington and Lea Theriault of Fort Kent; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grand-children, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Helen Horne of Orbsonioa, Pa. in 2001; and four brothers, Adrien, Normand, Julien and Lucien Ouellette. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent 6-8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of departure for Soldier Pond. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Soldier Pond. Committal services with full military honors will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Wallagrass.
