GOULDSBORO – Marjorie M. Morse, 68, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, after a sudden illness. Born April 11, 1938, in Gouldsboro, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Bernice (Keith) Morse Sr. She worked at Stinsons and L. Ray Packing for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, puzzles and flowers. She shared 46 years of marriage with Ernest R. Morse Sr. who died in 1994. Family members include three sons, Norman Morse Sr. and his wife, Barbara, of Hancock, Lewis Morse Sr. and his wife, Angela, of Gouldsboro, and Ernest R. Morse Jr. and his fiance, Gwen, all of Milbridge; one daughter, Lois Morse and boyfriend, Lee Smith III, of Steuben; grandchildren, Mark Wallace, Ernie, Robert, Casey, Norman Jr., John, Sara, Lewis Jr., Christine Morse, Brenna and Matt Gillis; a great-grandchild, Nicole Morse; four brothers, Wayne Young of Florida, Richard Young of Cherryfield, Douglas Young Jr. of Ellsworth, and Charles Stevens of Boothbay Harbor; two sisters, Clara Daley of South Gouldsboro and Leola Burge of Florida. She was also survived by a special friend and sister-in-law, Marion Newenham of Cherryfield. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Leroy Young. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Milbridge. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Sunday in the Morse Cemetery, Cherryfield.
