CRYSTAL – Albert Baker, 67, died April 28, 2007, with his family at his side at his home. He was born Feb. 16, 1940, in Patten, the son of Peter and Effie (Campbell) Baker. Albert proudly worked for Eastern Maine Electric Co-Op for 381/2 years, and was a member of the Island Falls Baptist Church. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Donna (Barker) Baker of Crystal; six brothers and sisters, Phyllis and her husband, Roland Wilkins, Virginia Anderson, all of Patten, Marguerite and her husband, Kent Michaud, of Florida, Charles Baker of Patten, Arthur and his wife, Marcia Baker, of Brownville, and Peter Baker of Alton; several nieces, nephews and cousins; his best friends, Don and Sona Hallett, Terry and Dotti Tucker, Shawn, and Annalisa and Tristin Harrington; as well as many other close friends. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Tellis and Clarence; and three sisters, Ethel Blake, Mary Dickinson, and Winnie Jandreau. The family would like to thank V.N.A. and Hospice of Aroostook for all of their care and compassion. At Albert’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
