ALBERT J. WEDGE JR. BREWER – Albert J. Wedge Jr., 71, died Feb. 22, 2007, in Brewer. He was born Sept. 26, 1935, in Bre-wer, the loving son of Albert J. and Madeline H. (Kenney) Wedge, Sr. Albee, as he was known, was a lifelong resident of Brewer, graduating from Brewer High School. He served with the U.S. Army during the early ’60s and worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for many years. He also worked several years at Husson College, in a training and development program. He was a sports lover and enjoyed watching all kinds of sports. He is survived by his sister, Eunice Lieffring of Walthena, Kan.; a brother, Creighton Wedge and his wife, Patricia, of Norton, Mass. He was the loving uncle to Jo (Lieffring) Miller, Jan (Lieffring) Bradshaw of Walthena, Kan., Julie (Wedge) DeVisscher of Mill-ville, Mass., and Laura (Wedge) Shine of Norton, Mass.; several great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer, at a time to be announced in the spring. Arrangements by Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State St., Brewer.
