MARS HILL – Albert M. White, 87, died Thursday night, Feb. 7, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Aug. 31, 1920, in Blaine, son of Sidney and Martha (Kinney) White. He owned and operated a farm for many years and worked at McCains Foods. Albert loved spending time with family, was a collector and was an avid NASCAR and Red Sox fan. He is survived by his wife Harriet (Britton) White of Mars Hill; two sons, Albert Jr. and his companion, Julie, of Mars Hill and Terry and his wife, Paula, of Easton; four daughters, Sandra Hawksley and her husband, Dick, of Presque Isle, Judy Doak of Mars Hill, Cindy Butts and her husband, John, of Hampden and Debbie Holmes and her husband, Galen, of Blaine; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Ronnie in 1965; and a son-in-law, Bob Doak. A private graveside service will be held in May at Kings Grove Cemetery, Mars Hill, with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating.
