ALBERTINE CYR MOUNT CHASE and PATTEN – Albertine Cyr, 84, gave her final “cast,” and went to meet the Lord and be reunited with her beloved husband, Francis; son, Randy; son-in-law, Michael Qualey; and nine brothers and sisters, May 17, 2006. She was born Dec. 18, 1921, in St. Francis, the daughter of Richard and Georgiana (Ouellette) Michaud of St. Francis. She is survived by her sisters, Alexina “Toots” Jones and Hazel Bossie; and a brother, Edwin “Bee” Michaud. She will be greatly missed by her children, Una and Louis Perrault, Ernie and Donna Cyr, Francis and Sally Cyr, Carolyn and John MacDougall, Cheyanne and Greg Palmer; daughter-in-law, Cathy Cyr; Ricky and Jeannine Cyr, Gene and Violet Cyr, Dale Anne and Tim Ivey, Vona and David Libby, Fred and Patti Cyr, Samantha and Ronnie “Rudney” Robinson; and daughter-in-law, Harriet Cyr. Grammie left her legacy with her 38 grandchildren, Lisa, Steve, Tanya, Little Ernie, Tammy, Sarah, Susan, Jennifer, Michelle, Cheyanne, Greg “Lee,” Nicole, Ryan, Julie, Debbie, Little Randy, Jason, Dustin, Samuel, Amy, Dani Beth, Jeremiah, Alicia, Joshua, Caleb, Lucas, Mikey, Travis, Little Sammie, Megan and Mindy, the “twins,” Matthew, Shawn, Tyler, Chelsea, Ronni Michelle, Mary Jo and Brandon. Also, 44 great-grand-children and some on their way; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Her greatest pride in life was raising her children, working together as a family in the potato fields and raking blueberries. Her greatest gift of all, is the music that she passed on to us. Thank you, Lord, for your blessings on us! At her request graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Patten Cemetery. We welcome all those who would like to attend. A celebration of her life will immediately follow at the Rockabema Snowsled Club.
