MADAWASKA – Clarence Bouchard, 78, died peacefully May 18, 2006, at his residence in Madawaska. He was born April 17, 1928, in Frenchville, the son of Paul and Simone (Chasse) Bouchard. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and a member of the Thomas O. Cyr Legion Post of Madawaska. He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Raymond) Bouchard of Madawaska; three sons, Carl Bouchard and his wife, Nanie, of Independence, Mo., Raymond Bouchard and his wife, Mary, of Madawaska, Michael Bouchard and his wife, Kathy, of Scarborough; two daughters, Janice Cornell and her husband, Jim, of Madawaska, Diane Bouchard of Fort Kent; two brothers, Eldon Bouchard of Madawaska, Norman Bouchard of Sanford; two sisters, Viola Grandmaison of Montreal, P.Q., Canada, Anita Nadeau of Frenchville; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grand-children, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Rena Hebert. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Madawaska. Friends and relatives may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 1 p.m. Monday until time of services at the Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
