ALBERTINE (GAGNON) VOISINE FORT KENT – Albertine (Gagnon) Voisine, 81, beloved wife of Claude Voisine, died Jan. 28, 2004, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Soldier Pond, Oct. 28, 1922, the daughter of Thomas and Claudia (Labbe) Gagnon. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She is survived by her husband of 52 years of Fort Kent, one son, Lee Voisine; and one daughter, Leta Voisine and her husband, Peter, all of Fort Kent; two grandsons, Paul Voisine and his wife, Sandra, and Mike Voisine; two sisters, Blanche Bouchard and Therese Gagnon, both of Fort Kent; one foster brother, Billy Lizotte and a close friend, Albert DeLuc, both of Fort Kent; two sisters-in-law, Aunt Gladys Gagnon of Fort Kent and Aunt Clair Gagnon of Berwick, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers and two sisters. There will be no visitations at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the funeral. Friends and relatives are invited to go directly to the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Spring burial will be in the parish cemetery. Those who wish may donate in her memory to the Visiting Nursing of Aroostook, P.O. Box 688, Caribou, ME 04736-9976. Envelopes are available at the church. Arrangements are being conducted by the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home of Fort Kent.
