MILLINOCKET and WINDHAM, N.H. – Aldea M. Fitzgerald, 98, went home to be with her Lord on July 15, 2004, after a short illness with her granddaughter, Donna and her husband, Vincent Serino by her side at their home in Windham, N.H. She was born Sept. 8, 1905, in Berlin, N.H., the daughter of Adelaid and Claudia (Viens) Bilodeau. Aldea will be remembered for going everywhere in her red high heels, even down central street hill and all the dances. She loved traveling with Royal Tours with Fr. Parent and her daughter, “Jo.” She was also a member of the Little Flower Circle Daughters of Isabella. She was predeceased by her parents, Adelaid and Claudia Bilodeau; her brothers, Lawrence and Laurier Bilodeau; her husbands, Albert Osborne, Rusty Whippen, and Willie Fitzgerald; her children, Irene Osborne, Yvette Carland, Arthur Osborne and Leola Hartline. She is survived by one son, Larry Osborne of Medway and Florida; one daughter, Josephine Leavitt of Millinocket; one stepson, Morris Fitzgerald. She will be sadly missed by 26 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; stepgrandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2004, at R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, where the Little Flower Circle Daughters of Isabella will recite the rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 19, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Millinocket. Burial will immediately follow at Millinocket Cemetery.
