MILLINOCKET – Hellas B. Brunette, 91, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2004, at a local hospital. Mrs. Brunette was born Sept. 5, 1912, in Millinocket, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Sutherland) Boddy. She graduated from Stearns High School and from Anna Jacques Hospital School of Nursing in Newburyport, Mass. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, John Brunette of Millinocket; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Cheryl Brunette of Millinocket; two daughters and one son-in-law, Raelene and Gerald Comstock of Millinocket, and Susan Bocknick of Peabody, Mass.; one sister, Harriet and her husband, Allister Embleton; one brother, Eugene and his wife, Nadine Boddy; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, William and Edwin Boddy; her sister, Marie MacDonald; and her son-in-law, Theodore Bocknick. A memorial service will take place 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Millinocket. Burial will immediately follow in Millinocket Cemtery. Arrangements by R.L.
