HOULTON – Alfreda M. Britton, 72, died Oct. 7, 2003, at her Houlton residence She was born July 21, 1931, the daughter of Kenneth and Gladys Nason. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by six sons, David Britton and Glenda, of Smyrna, Rodney Britton and his wife, Nancy, of Houlton, Douglas Britton of Bangor, Kenneth Britton of Houlton, Mike Britton and his wife, Denise, of Ludlow, Mark Britton and Evelyn, of Houlton; three daughters, Linda Nixon and her husband, Don, of Bethlehem, Pa., Debra Shaw and her husband, Michael, of Saco, Diane Stovar and Marty, of Trafford, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Nason, Keith Nason and his wife, Joanne, all of Woodstock; six sisters, Pauline Lunier of Georgia, Barbara Weanick and Mildred Dunham, both of Ontario, Francis Hong, Sheila Ames and her husband, John, all of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Margie Oser and her husband, Dean, of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Britton and a daughter-in-law, Joleen Britton. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. at the Dunn Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 1:30 Saturday.
