NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Alicia M. “Chi Chi” Ashby, 64, a resident of Nashville, Tenn. died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at her residence after a long illness. Mrs. Ashby was born Dec. 28, 1941, in Framingham, Mass., the daughter of Arthur A. and Claudia Church Wigglesworth and was a graduate of Princeton High School, Princeton. While living in Tennessee, she was employed as an assistant to many senior managers of companies, such as Rand McNally and Pizza Hut Corporation. Her last employment was executive assistant to the director of Schaller-Anderson, Healthcare Management and Consulting. Mrs. Ashby also served as a Notary Public and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an avid reader of World War II Germany books and World War II history books. Predeceased by her brother, Arthur Aldred Wigglesworth Jr. Survivors include her husband, Richard E. Ashby of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Crystal C. “Cami” Monaghan of Baltimore, Ohio, Carmen C. “Codi” Corbin of Columbus, Ohio; a grandson, Ian A. Monaghan of Baltimore, Ohio; four sisters, Claudia Pease of Thomaston, Cynthia C. Parlee of Arundel, Aldreda M. Scammon of Cocoa, Fla., A. Annette Scott of Baileyville, and Rockland; two brothers, Charles E. Wigglesworth of Kennebunk and Alan Frederic Wigglesworth of Thomaston; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held 5-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at the Hall and Bibber Funeral Home, 78 Main St., Thomaston. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the family lot in Village Cemetery, Thomaston. Should friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309, in Mrs. Ashby’s memory. Arrangements are entrusted to Hall and Bibber Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Thomaston.
