MADAWASKA – Aline C. Michaud, 82, died peacefully Feb. 1, 2005, surrounded by family and friends at a Fort Kent hospital. She was born Nov. 21, 1922, in the Lavertu Settlement in Grand Isle, the daughter of Dennis and Julie (Lavertu) Clavette. She is survived by her children, Marie Marthe, Clarence, Milford, Raymond and his wife, Marie-Paul, Robert and his wife, Francine, David and his wife, Darleen, all of Madawaska, Clifford and his wife, Marie of Lisbon Falls, Joan and her husband, Almon, of Terryville, Conn., Jeanine and her husband, Bob, of Connor Twp., Lewis and his wife, Donna, of Machias; and daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Michaud of New York; her brothers and sisters, Emily Caron of Lewiston, Thomas, Lucien and Aldea St. Hilaire of Yuma, Ariz., and Laurrette Rossignol of Perry, Ga. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Michaud; and by two sons, Janel and Gilman. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday at the Daigle Funeral Home. Friends and relatives may call 1-3 p.m. Friday at the Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. David Christian Cemetery in the spring.
