DERRY, N.H. – Allan B. Clukey, 66, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, in his home. Mr. Clukey was born July 28, 1940, in Dover-Foxcroft, a son of Lyda E. (Stairs) Clukey and the late Felix J. Clukey. He was a resident of Derry, N.H., since 1964, formerly living in Dover-Foxcroft. He was a graduate of Foxcroft Academy, Dover-Foxcroft, Class of 1958. He retired from Pepsi Bottling Group, Manchester, N.H., after 39 years. Mr. Clukey was previously employed for N.H. Welding Supply, Nashua, N.H., and more recently worked part time for Autofair, Manchester, N.H., driving vehicles between dealerships. Mr. Clukey enjoyed fishing and tying his own flies, loved the ocean and vacationing during summer in Maine. He also enjoyed drawing pictures for his grandchildren. He was known to be able to fix just about anything. He was a member and trustee of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Derry, N.H. In addition to his mother of Manchester, N.H.; he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marilyn J. (Smart) Clukey of Derry, N.H.; two sons, Mark Clukey of Derry, N.H., and Timothy Clukey and his wife, Melissa, of Hillsboro, N.H.; one daughter, Janine Anderson and her husband, Daniel, of Derry, N.H.; six grandchildren; two sisters, Carole Hackert of Manchester, N.H., and Marcia Currier and her husband, Leigh, of Londonderry, N.H.; three nephews, two nieces, four great-nephews and three great-nieces. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, N.H. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 63 East Broadway, Derry, N.H. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, N.H.
