MORRILL – Allen C. Chasse, 29, died May 11, 2004, at Thorndike. He was born Feb. 24, 1975, in Meriden, Conn., the son of Mary J. (Madore) Schultz. He was a 1992 graduate of Belfast Area High School. He worked locally as a carpenter. He loved his NASCAR collection of Jeff Gordon #24, all sports. He enjoyed playing basketball, golf, and especially watching his nephew play ball. He was predeceased by a brother, James and is survived by his mother, Mary Schultz of Belfast and Sherri Penuik, who was like a second mom; a son, Zachary of Bangor; two brothers, Scott Chasse of Belfast and Joseph Chasse of Brooks; a sister, Tami Day of Belfast; a niece, Kellie Curtis of Belfast; a nephew, A.J. of Belfast; two other nieces, Kyrika Chasse and Shiante McManus, both of Tampa, Fla.; close friends, Kate Estabrook of Morrill, Mike Reynolds of Belfast; and many friends. A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2004, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Paul Pare officiating. Friends are encouraged to make donations to the family, care of Joe Chasse, 187 Lang Hill Highway, Brooks, ME 04921. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
