CORINNA – Allen David Edwards Sr., 48, died unexpectedly June 15, 2007, at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born May 4, 1959, in Metter, Ga., a son of Johnny and Willette (Mincey) Edwards. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cindy (Sprague) Edwards of Corinna; two children, Artillula Hagins and Allen Edwards Jr.; six brothers, Ronnie, Billy, Michael, Rodney Edwards, all of Metter, Ga., Rufus Edwards of Bangor, and Robert Edwards of Warren; five sisters, Carolyn Jones of Lyons, Ga., Dorothy Delma of Reidsville, Ga., Betty Williams and Connie Edwards, both of Metter, Ga., and Lutrinya Edwards of Alexandria, Va.; and four grandchildren, Shaquanda, Lakarla, T’ana, and Diamontal. He was predeceased by his five-year-old daughter, Willette Edwards Nov. 13, 2002. Memorial services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at Stetson Union Church with the Rev.
