LINCOLN – Alma B. Crocker, 88, wife of the late Bertrand G. Crocker, died Oct. 19, 2005, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born April 14, 1917, in Enfield, the daughter of Joseph and Arlene (Preble) Rollins. Alma was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was an earth angel who spent her life caring for and loving others. She attended the Lincoln Center Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by a son, Bertran D. Crocker and his wife, Debbie, of Lincoln; two daughters, Arlene Lyons and her husband, Robert, and Sonya Mahar and her husband, Dennis, all of Lincoln; three sisters, Clydie Batchelder of Enfield, Harriet Hesseltine of Passadumkeag and Jackie Hatch of Howland; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Bertrand, she was predeceased by two sisters, three brothers and two grandsons. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Town Line Hill Cemetery, Enfield. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to the American Diabetes Association.
