MILLINOCKET – Alma Cyr, 93, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at a Millinocket health care facility. She was born Dec. 2, 1914, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Fred and Delia (Theriault) Voisine. Alma was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a communicant of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Millinocket, and was an active member of Daughters of Isabella, Little Flower Circle. Alma loved cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by three sons, Ronald Cyr and his wife, Judy, of Millinocket, David Cyr and his wife, Kathy, of Brewer and Galen Cyr and his wife, Rhonda, of Millinocket; five grandchildren, Paul Cyr and his wife, Michelle, of Scarborough, Christine Lee and her husband, Randy, of Odessa, Texas, Steven Cyr and his wife, Amy, of Bangor, Joseph Cyr of Millinocket and Jason Cyr of Millinocket; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Egline Char-ette of Fort Kent; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Alma was predeceased by her husband, Felix Cyr; a brother, Alcide Voisine; and a sister, Rena Laferrier. Friends are invited to visit with the family 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, where a rosary service will be conducted 7 p.m. by the officers and members of Daughters of Isabella, Little Flower Circle. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 112 Maine Ave., Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presider. Interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery.
