MADAWASKA – Alphy D. Pelletier, 95, died at a local boarding home on April 27, 2004. He was born Feb. 16, 1909, in Daigle, the son of Denis and Emma (Boutot) Pelletier. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene Dumais. He is survived by two brothers, Wilfred of Houlton, and Joseph of Millinocket; and one sister, Jeanette Bard of Bingham. He was the former and original owner of the Tastee Freeze in Madawaska. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2638 in Madawaska, and a 4th degree member. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, April 29, in the St. Thomas Church, and interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours at the Daigle Funeral Home will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
