BATON ROUGE, La. – Rose Ann Donnelly Savage, devoted wife, loving mother, sister and sister-in-law, a retired executive secretary and homemaker died Saturday evening, April 24, 2004 at home. She was 85 years young, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of New York City. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Savage of Bangor; sister, Mary Bartolomew; and brother, Joseph Donnelly, both of New York. She is survived by her two sisters, Agnes Malafronte and Teresa Campanelli of New York; her three daughters, Mary Ellen Savage, M.D. of New Haven, Conn., Margaret Savage-Weymer and husband, Don Weymer, of Spencerville, Md., Caroline Savage Watson and husband, Michael Watson, of Baton Rouge, La.; two grandchildren, Eve Christina Savage Elliott and Ian Donald Savage Elliott, both of New Haven, Conn.; and sister-in-law, Nancy Savage of Bangor and currently of Baton Rouge, La. Rose Ann was a resident of Lake Sherwood Village since November 1998, where she was active in the Rosary and Novena Society, a member of the winners circle of the Bingo Club and delighted in outings to the casinos and her numerous friendships. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and sincerest appreciation to the staff, caregivers and residents of Lake Sherwood Village who contributed so much to her quality of life. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at Lake Sherwood Village, 4101 Plaza Tower Drive, Baton Rouge, La.
