A New Hampshire man was arrested Saturday afternoon after 14 people called 911 to report a car traveling over 100 mph and driving erratically on Interstate 295, according to Maine State Police.

The Bangor Regional Communications Center began receiving calls at approximately 3:35 p.m. about the vehicle, which was heading northbound in the Bowdoinham area. Troopers used the callers’ mile marker updates to track the vehicle’s location and eventually stopped it on I-95 in Waterville.

Alexandre Forsythe, 22, of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, was charged with criminal OUI and criminal speed.
